The Zeiterion Performing Arts Center presents the high-octane, family-friendly Drumline Live on Saturday, January 26, 8:00 p.m. The performance features riveting rhythms and bold beats modeled from Historically Black College and University (HBCU) halftime shows. Tickets range from $29 to $49 and can be purchased by calling 508-994-2900, online at www.zeiterion.org, or at the Zeiterion Box Office at 684 Purchase Street in New Bedford. Group sales of 10 tickets and more are available by calling 508-997-5664 x123.

From the musical team behind the hit movies Drumline and Drumline: A New Beat, Drumline Live embodies the soulful, high-stepping style of the HBCU marching band experience. The synchronized musical showcase incorporates original compositions and soul-infused interpretations of hip-hop, American soul, gospel, jazz, and TOP 40. Audiences around the world have been mesmerized with the show’s colorful, choreographed routines and heavy doses of drum riffs and cadences.

“I guarantee people have never seen a show like this before,” said Don P. Roberts, CEO of Drumline Live. “The cast of musicians, dancers and singers, led by an all-star group of percussionists, will perform extraordinary choreography that will have the audience on their feet throughout the entire show!”

DrumLine Live has paraded onto some of the biggest theater stages in America, Japan, and Korea. The synchronized musical showcase comes alive with a 40-member cast of performers who honed their unrivaled talent with years of training in marching band programs across the United States, including Florida A&M University, Tennessee State University, and Southern University.
