York Steakhouse in Dartmouth, Massachusetts was one of the most popular food destinations for thousands of locals and was located where Chipotle is today. The steakhouse created fond memories for those who grew up visiting the spot regularly. Not only could you get a world-class steak cooked perfectly, but you could also watch it being cooked right in front of you as you moved along the queue. Of course, the aroma was divine.

You can reminisce about those days here in our “Who Remembers…?” article on the restaurant with vintage photos to bring you back.

“We’re sorry to report that one of the founders of York Steak House, Eddie Grayson passed today at age 96.

His wife of 73 years, Pat, passed less than a month ago. They continued to support us through the years, eating in our restaurant. We will truly miss them!”-York Steak House.
