According to New Bedford police, dispatch received a call around 6:51am on Monday, 28 March, 2016, in regards to a male stabbed at 123 Mott Street in the south end of New Bedford. NBPD officers arrived on scene and found a 30 year old male outside with one stab wound to his back.
The injured man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he was alert and able to speak with detectives.
A 27-year old female by the name of Tommi Ambrosen was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
