Winter Storm Watch in Effect for the Southcoast

We’ve got new data on the pending storm that’s expected to reach us on Monday morning. Scattered snow showers will start around midnight. Snow during the morning will mix with rain at times during the afternoon along with gusty winds. High 38F. Winds ENE at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Snow accumulating 3 to 5 inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

Tomorrow night expect lots of wind with rain. Expected low of 36F. Winds NE at 20 to 30 mph. The chance of rain will be nearly 100%. Rainfall may reach one inch. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph which might result in power outages throughout the region.

On Tuesday we will see more rain then remaining cloudy with showers in the afternoon with a high of 44F. Winds NNE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall near a quarter of an inch.
Tuesday night will be cloudy with rain and snow showers in the evening. Snow showers overnight. Low 29F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 40% with very little accumulation. Drivers should remain cautious.
