Whisk & JANE LLC send demand letters to New Bedford City Council and Mayor

Ericca Kennedy of Whisk & JANE LLC has sent letters to the New Bedford City Council and Mayor John Mitchell voicing her frustration that the zoning ordinance has caused a significant delay to opening her recreational marijuana business at the former strip club on Pope’s Island.

Sooooo….the issue here is the money…loosing hundreds of thousands per day to THEIR company….has zero to do with “lifting up New Bedford”…which is fine as long as they stop claiming it is for the betterment of the City……the zoning is meant to protect the City and it’s citizens…this type of project takes a lot of work to meet the zoning issues but the sites can be found and then developed….it isn’t easy and there is a lot to it and DEMANDING action will only increase the difficulty in getting things done..
