Wareham’s Annual Oyster Fest and 5K Road Race, May 26

On Sunday May 26, 2019, the Annual Oyster Festival will be held in downtown Wareham.

From 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Main Street will be closed to through traffic from Sawyer Street to Center Street.

The 5K road race will begin at 10:00 a.m. with runners on Main Street, High Street, Marion Road, and Warr Avenue. Please use extreme caution in the area.

People attending the event will park at the town hall, located at 54 Marion Road, and shuttles will be running throughout the day to bring visitors to and from the event area.

The Wareham Police Department wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend,
while keeping mind the extreme sacrifice soldiers and their families have made for our freedom.
