Wareham Animal Control is seeing a significant increase in easily preventable dog vs dog attacks in town?♂️?♂️?♂️.
These incidents are extremely traumatic for not only the dogs but all people involved and its leaving animals with serious injuries as well as pet owners with thousand$$$ in medical bills.
If you have a dog then you have an absolute responsibility to ensure that they are properly contained with no means of escape. We can’t stress enough how costly some of these medical bills are including potential fines, public dangerous dog hearings, and you risk being sued, so take this PSA extremely seriously.
If you have a dog YOU MUST BE UNDER CONTROL OF IT AT ALL TIMES!!!! It is also required by law that all dogs be vaccinated and licensed.
