Wareham police looking for pedestrian hit-and-run suspect who fled the scene

On Tuesday, January 1, at about 5:45 p.m., a 34-year-old Plymouth woman was struck in the area of the Krua Thai II restaurant at 3043 Cranberry Highway, while attempting to cross the road. The female pedestrian received serious injuries and was flown to Rhode Island Hospital Trauma Center.

The vehicle which struck her fled the scene towards Bourne and is described as a silver sports utility type vehicle. At this time there are no suspects, and the case is being investigated by Wareham Police detectives.
