Wareham Fire Department respond to train car fire, and possible gas leak at Target

“On Friday, June 24th, the Wareham Fire Department responded to the Target Store on Cranberry Highway for the report of a possible gas leak.

Engine 5, Engine 4, and Tower 1 all responded to the scene and worked under the command of Captain Mickey Bird. The store was evacuated, and after an extensive check of the property no hazards were located.

Last night, Tuesday June 28th, members of the Wareham Fire Department responded to the report of a train car fire on Freight House Road.

Engine 5, Engine 4, and Squad 2 responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the fire. Chief John Kelley served as the incident commander.” -Wareham Fire Department.
