“On Thursday morning, Wareham firefighters under the command of Captain Mark Rogers, responded to the Fivestar Gateway Gas Station on Cranberry Highway, for a fuel spill.

At the scene, firefighters encountered an accidental spill from a truck off-loading fuel. WFD members worked quickly to control the spill from expanding any further than it had.

Several other agencies responded to the scene, including Mass Highway and DEP, Onset FD, along with the Wareham Board of Health agent. After the hazards were secured, the scene was turned over to a private firm for clean-up.” -Wareham Fire Department.
