Operation Military Smiles Second Annual Toy Collection Fall River, MA Organized by local Gold Star families. 1 to 5 p.m. at the Liberal Club, 20 Star St. Please bring unwrapped toys for boys and girls of all ages (there is a greater need for gifts for older boys). Monetary donations are also accepted and are tax-deductible.

Nov. 6. Fallen Heroes Food Drive Fall River, MA Voters are asked to bring non-perishable items to all polls in Fall River (7 a.m. to 8 p.m.) to help the Veterans Association of Bristol County food pantry on Pine Street. All the food for this third annual drive will be distributed to the vet’s center food pantry.

Nov. 11. New Bedford Military Museum Open House New Bedford, MA Open house at the museum. Our veterans’ program will begin at 1:00 p.m. and feature speakers Tom and Peter Clark.
