U.S. Attorney Rollins, FBI, DEA, U.S. Marshalls, visit New Bedford Police Department

“On Wednesday, July 20, U.S. Attorney Rachael Rollins along with her team and other federal partners including the Drug Enforcement Administration – DEA, the FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Marshalls, and the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office met with New Bedford Police Chief Paul Oliveira and Deputy Chief Adelino Sousa.

Of the numerous topics discussed, the most prominent was the reduction of violent crime here in the city.

“I appreciate U.S. Attorney Rachel Rollins taking the time to visit New Bedford, hear the concerns of our department, and for her commitment of assistance to our community,” said Chief Oliveira.
