Two New Bedford women arrested with 224 grams of heroin, $8,021 cash

On October 17, 2016, at approximately 1:23am, Lakeville Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Bedford Street. A search of the vehicle revealed 224 grams of Heroin, $8,021 cash, and 91 various doses of prescription medication. 2 females were arrested and charged with the following:

Jennifer Randolph of New Bedford MA

  • Trafficking Heroin 200 grams or more
  • Poss. Class A with intent to distribute
  • Poss. Class A
  • 3 counts of Poss. Class B subsequent offense

Amanda Macdonald of New Bedford MA

  • Trafficking Heroin 200 grams or more
  • Poss. class A with intent to distribute
  • Poss. class B substance
  • False name to a Police Officer
  • Operating after suspension

Both were arraigned in Wareham District Court on Monday and held on $75,000 bail. Sergeant Ryan Maltais and Officer Andrew Sederquist are the investigating and arresting officers.
