Two Men Charged with 2010 Cold Case Taunton Murder; to be Arraigned Today

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III and Taunton Police Chief John Reardon announced that two men were arrested early this morning in connection to the 2010 cold case murder of 33-yea-old Joseph Dugan.

State Police detectives assigned to District Attorney Quinn’s office and Taunton Police detectives arrested Jeremy Rhoden, 25, and Donnelle Bates, 26, early this morning without incident in Taunton. Both defendants live in Taunton.

Mr. Dugan was shot to death outside an apartment building at 11 Granite Street on the evening of July 7, 2010.

District Attorney Quinn will personally handled today’s arraignment of both defendants in Taunton District Court later this morning.
