TT Operator Arrested for 3rd OUI Following Crash in Burlington

Reports we received that tractor-trailer unit rolled backwards into the front of a Mercedes Benz.

Yesterday, at about 5:50 p.m. State Police from the Concord Barracks received reports of a tractor-trailer unit which had rolled backwards into the front of a 2011 Mercedes Benz while waiting in traffic on Route 95 South by the Route 3 North on-ramp in the town of Burlington.

Trooper David Salvucci responded and observed the tractor-trailer and Mercedes Benz stopped in the breakdown lane of Route 3 North in the area of exit 26. Following a subsequent investigation, Trooper Salvucci arrested the operator of the tractor-trailer, JODY HARMON (a male), 46, of Winchendon, for Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol (3rd Offense).

HARMON was transported to the Concord State Police Barracks for booking and is to be arraigned today in Woburn District Court. The operator of the Mercedes was uninjured in the crash.
