Three officers retire from the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office

“Please join us in congratulating three members of the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office family who have retired in the last few weeks: Col. James Lancaster, Sgt. Moses Isidoro and Officer Joe Franco.

Jimmy’s been a friend, mentor, and coach to generations of officers over the past 30 years while working his way up to the top of our security team in Dartmouth. In the past couple of years, he’s played a key role in adapting our operations to meet new state standards, and he did an amazing job.

No one around here has a bad word to say about Moses, who has been a great officer and key member of our training team over the last 20 years. He’s been a mentor and coach to hundreds of young officers in the academies over the years.

And Joe has been a steady hand in our transportation department, among other duties, for 30 years.

Congrats to these three fine gentlemen, we’ll miss you. Enjoy retirement!”
