Three New Bedford men arrested on heroin, cocaine distribution charges

Last night at approximately 7pm members of the Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau executed a search warrant at 401 Pleasant Street, apartment 1-south in New Bedford. This was the result of an investigation by Det. Jonathan Lagao into a heroin distribution service out of that home.

As result of the search, 4.4 grams of heroin, 1.9 grams of cocaine, packaging materials, and a total of $1,279.00 in U.S. currency was seized.

Arrested were:

  • Jose Robels
  • Israel Navarro
  • Omar Ferrer Navarro

All three males were arrested and charged with:

  • Possession with intent to distribute class A heroin
  • Possession with intent to distribute class B cocaine
  • Conspiracy to violate the controlled substance laws
