Three people, including infant, injured in Wareham two-car accident

On Wednesday, October 9, at 10:14 a.m., Wareham Police, Fire and EMS responded to Cranberry Highway at the entrance of Wareham Crossing for a serious motor vehicle crash involving a truck.

Officers arrived and found a box truck on its side and a vehicle with heavy front end damage. In addition, the truck’s fuel tank was ruptured and leaking. WFD personnel contained the hazards on both vehicles. Three people, including an infant, were transported to Tobey Hospital with non-life threatening injuries by Wareham Emergency Medical Services.

The accident remains under investigation by Officer Stephen Harrison. The Wareham Police are requesting anyone who may have witnessed the accident to please call (508)295-1212.
