Loss & Prevention – H&M

Overall Job Function: Responsible for asset protection of merchandise and goods within the assigned store location

Job Responsibility including but not limited to:
– Identifies fire, safety and loss risks
– Investigates acts of dishonesty by employees
– Detects and apprehends shoplifters per Company policy
– Trains and educates store staff on basic loss prevention methods
– Assists and partners with store management on all safety and loss matters
– Reports all safety and loss incidents in a timely manner to the District Loss
– Prevention Manager, Store Manager and proper authorities
– Completes assigned duties per H&M routines and procedures
– Financial Accountability: N/A

Minimum Candidate Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– At least 1 year of previous Store Detective experience

Competencies:
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office
– Above average verbal and written skills
– Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
– Training as a loss prevention interviewer preferred
– Ability to travel up to 10%

Job Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly, Full Time or Part Time
