The Portuguese Kids bring their brand of comedy to New Bedford!

If you have never heard of the Portuguese Kids, you are in for a real treat. Derrick DeMelo, Jason Casimiro, Brian Martins and Al Sardinha make up the comedy group that takes all the nostalgia of growing up in a Portuguese household or neighborhood, and coats it in comic creativity. If you are of Portuguese ethnicity, their humor will certainly strike a chord as you will encounter things mom, dad, and avó have said. If you aren’t Portuguese (impossible) then you will know someone who is and it’ll be just as hilarious.

The groups unique brand of comedy has taken them all across the country, and even Canada. This illustrates just how good it is. Laughter is said to be therapeutic and just darn good for the soul. The unfortunate part of seeing comic acts these days is that they are typically at a comedy club that charges not only an exorbitant amount of money for entry and an outrageous amount for drinks.
