Calling all teddy bears and their friends! Ruth and Abby, the national park’s 1850s ladies, invite the public to a teddy bear picnic on Friday, July 10, from 11 AM-2:00 PM. That day they will be celebrating International Teddy Bear Picnic Day. Bring your lunch and your favorite bear and picnic with the ladies in the garden. The event takes place in the garden at New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park, 33 William Street, downtown New Bedford.
