Early this morning, a search warrant was served on a single-family home in Foxborough by the Foxborough Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Clandestine Lab Enforcement Team for a suspected methamphetamine lab. Two people will be summonsed to court to face charges.

Four young children have been removed from the home and taken to hospital for evaluation. Exposure to the by-products of methamphetamine and other drug manufacturing can be extremely toxic to young children, as well as pose a risk of fire and explosion. The Department of Children and Families has been notified.

This is the result of a long-term investigation by the CLET.

The Massachusetts State Police Clandestine Lab Enforcement Team is made up of detectives, chemists, bomb squad technicians and works closely with specially trained members of the Department of Fire Services’ Hazardous Materials teams.
