Sunbeam Bread properties in New Bedford up for auction on Wednesday

According to JJ Manning Auctioneers, the Sunbeam Bread properties at 229-241 & 252 Coffin Ave. in New Bedford will be up for auction on September 25th at 11 am. The auction will be an absolute auction where the building will be sold to the highest bidder regardless of price.

According to the New Bedford Assessor’s property lookup, the main building at 229-241 was sold to Lucar Development LLC in Malden, Massachusetts in 2006 for $300,000. The property has a 2019 assessed value of $778,000. The property owned by Lucar Development LLC at 252 Coffin Ave. has a 2019 assessed value of $211,900.
