Registration is Now Open for the Sister 2 Sister Conference

Registration is now open for the Sister 2 Sister Conference for 50 girls in grades 5 – 8. The Sister 2 Sister Conference will offer a series of workshops on topics relevant to girls today including: Empowerment, Cultural Competency, Bullying, Healthy Relationships, Going to College, Racial Justice, Financial Literacy, Cultural Diversity, Positive Expression and Making a Difference.

The Sister 2 Sister Conference is a great way for girls to discover themselves, make new friends and have fun along the way. The conference will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 , from 9:30am – 2:30pm at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Claire T. Carney Library, Grand Reading Room, located at 285 Old Westport Road in North Dartmouth. There will be signs along Ring Road directing attendees to the drop-off location. The registration fee of $25.00 includes all conference activities and lunch. Scholarships are available for qualifying girls.
