A mechanical failure of a water meter due to the extreme cold temperatures has resulted in a loss of water service to Roosevelt Middle School. While the city crews and district facilities personnel continue to work on the problem, it has been determined that repairs will require additional time. As such Roosevelt Middle School students are being dismissed from school at 11: 00 a.m. following the normal dismissal procedures.
It is expected that Roosevelt will be open tomorrow. An update will be issued when additional information is available.
