“At approximately 3:00pm on Monday, Freetown Fire Department and Police Department units received reports of a truck accident on Narrows Road and Causeway in Freetown.
Upon arrival, responders discovered that the dump bed of a truck was in the raised position and struck overhead power lines. The driver realized that he was snagged on the lines and immediately stopped. However, half of the dump bed was tilted enough to lift all the tires off the ground.
Police redirected traffic for about an hour as the truck was disengaged from the power lines. There were no reported injuries in the incident which is under investigation.”-Freetown Fire Department.
