RAPPP Program/PRIDE Project through South Coast Hospitals will be having their annual yard sale at 1208 Ashley Boulevard, New Bedford on October 1, from 8:00am-2:00pm. There will be plenty of great items, furniture, books, clothing, jewelry, odds and ends and more.

The RAPPP Program (Responsible Attitudes toward Pregnancy, Parenting & Prevention) is an adolescent pregnancy prevention program designed to be used within the curriculum of health or science departments of junior high and high school systems. The RAPPP curriculum is taught in middle and high schools throughout the South Coast, and resources are also available at a teen drop-in center located at the RAPPP offices at 1608 Ashley Blvd. in New Bedford.

The PRIDE Project (Personal Responsibility through Intentional Development & Engagement) is a program created for minority males in the area. The PRIDE Program curriculum focus on life skills, healthy behaviors, and positive constructive actions that allow young people to be successful now & later in life. The program benefits of the PRIDE Project include career prep, mentoring, tutoring by certified MA teachers, field trips, community service experiences, reproductive health & counseling, health screening, saving account with deposits and gift cards upon enrollment & goal achievements, free transportation, and dinner served while at program.
