Police seeking man who assaulted woman after crash on I-93

Last evening, at approximately 8:23 p.m., troopers from the State Police Andover Barracks responded to a two-vehicle crash on the ramp from Route 110 to I-93 northbound in Methuen. The crash was involving a silver Honda Civic and a gray Toyota Scion. After the crash occurred, both vehicles pulled into the breakdown lane on I-93 northbound, approximately ½ mile north of exit 46.

The driver of the Honda, reported to be a male, allegedly physically assaulted the female driving the Toyota. The male subject then fled the scene in the Honda. The female was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.

With the assistance of Manchester, New Hampshire Police Department, the Honda that fled the scene, was located and has been seized for processing by the State Police Crime Scene Services Section. Presently, no charges have been filed from this incident, as the investigation is ongoing.

The State Police Andover Barracks is requesting anyone who witnessed the initial crash, or the altercation between the two drivers, to contact Trooper Kenneth Quigley at the State Police Andover Barracks at 978-475-3800.
