Help keep Palmers Island Lighthouse clean!

The City of New Bedford Conservation Commission, Ben Rose Field Center, Operation Clean Sweep, Old Bedford Village, Buzzards Bay Coalition, Hands Across The River, and Youthbuild invite you to participate in the Palmers Island Cleanup!

MEET AT THE GIFFFORD STREET BOAT RAMP PARKING LOT

Date: Saturday April 4th

Time: 12:45 PM to 3:45 PM

Rain date: Saturday May 2nd

Time: 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM

We ask that you bring your own heavy duty gloves and be sure to wear protective footwear, sunscreen, water bottle, and appropriate clothing. Instructions on what to do with certain types of refuse will be discussed at the beginning of the cleanup.

For directions go to map quest: http://www.mapquest.com/ and search Gifford Street, New Bedford, MA (drive to the end of Gifford St. and the boat ramp parking lot is on your left).
