**PARENT/CHILD+ EARLY LEARNING SPECIALIST**

PACE Child Care Works is a full-service childcare resource and referral program dedicated to helping families find quality childcare. The ParentChild+ Program is an evidence-based early literacy, parenting, and school readiness home visiting program. The program is designed to strengthen families and prepare children to succeed in school through building literacy and interactions between parents and their children.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications/skills and a passion for building learning-rich home environments with families, in addition to, supporting families as their child’s first and most important teacher:

· High School diploma or GED required;
· Must be able to read and write well enough to complete home session reports, progress evaluations, and read children’s books fluently with the families.
· Computer skills required;
· Must be able to pass a CORI and SORI background checks.

The ParentChild+ Early Learning Specialist will conduct outreach to families, possess the ability to work with parents/caregivers, conduct home visits to assigned families twice a week, complete all required paperwork in a timely manner, attend required trainings and participate in weekly team meetings, and have reliable transportation. SALARY: $16.00/hour, 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
