Onset man arrested in Wareham for 3rd OUI

On Sunday, August 11 at 12:40 a.m., William Guenette, 50, of Onset, was arrested by Officer Nate Aronson and Sergeant Herb Noble on Locust Street for operating under the influence of alcohol, 3rd offense, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Sergeant Noble was in the area for a report of a suspicious vehicle and stopped the car in question. During a brief investigation, Mr. Guenette was placed under arrest after the officers observed signs of impairment.

Later on Sunday, another Onset man was arrested for his 3rd OUI while driving a scooter on Onset Pier.
