Off-Duty Dartmouth Police Officer Performs CPR at Local Restaurant

On Friday, January 12, 2018 at approximately 7:00 p.m. while off-duty at Gumbo’s Restaurant in Dartmouth, Officer Lisa DACOSTA observed a 57 year old Dartmouth man suffer an apparent heart attack.

In response, Officer DACOSTA immediately began to perform CPR on the man until EMS and other first responders arrived.

The man was subsequently transported to the hospital, and his current condition is unknown.
