Odie’s Place Animal Rescue distributes over 500 turkeys in New Bedford

Odie’s Place Animal Rescue completed their fifth Annual Thanksgiving fundraiser – distributing more than 500 turkeys to families in New Bedford Thanksgiving.

Brian Harrington and other volunteers report that they collected over 500 turkeys in the 2 weeks leading up to Thanksgiving and distributed them throughout the city of New Bedford. The volunteers handed out the turkeys to families by stopped by apartment complexes throughout New Bedford so they could have an amazing Thanksgiving Day meal. The group also donated a dozen turkeys to the employees at the Brockton Day Nursery.

Odie’s Place Animal Rescue reports collecting and distributing over 800 turkeys in 2018.
