New Bedford’s Orpheum Theater for sale … again

The Orpheum Theater, an icon during New Bedford’s booming textile years, is for sale again. The building is located at 1005 Water Street and the listing agent is asking $579,900 for the property. According to the New Bedford Assessor’s office, the building was sold to Walter Moniz of New Bedford for $70,000 in 2017 and has an assessed 2019 value of $424,000.

  1. Walter Moniz is a crook and dirty business man. He has people’s belongings from W&W Moving and Storage, LLC stored in the Orpheum Theater. He is not licensed by the State nor the city of New Bedford to store belongings anywhere other than 810 S. 1st st. His employees stole most of my belongings after moving my apartment.
