Here’s a look at the events in downtown New Bedford for New Year’s Eve:

FREE Programming throughout Downtown New Bedford 5PM-8PM
Fireworks on the waterfront by State Pier 8:30PM

• An Interfaith Service from 5:00-6:00PM in Seamen’s Bethel, plus a recital featuring harpist Eva MacFarlane 6:00-8:00PM
• Three dynamic Toe Jam Puppet Band performances at YMCA of Greater New Bedford
• NEW for 2018! Lori Gomes Ensemble featuring Joaquin Santos, Yuki Monolog Kenesaka and Vaughn Brathwaite brings jazz to the
New Bedford Harbor Hotel, an Ascend Hotel Collection Member from 5:00-7:00PM
• Fortune Teller by Sanctum Folklorica at the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center 5:30-7:30PM – plus free face painting by Overhead Arts 5:00-8:00PM
