New Bedford’s Day of Caring Returns on September 16

The following is a press release from the United Way of Greater New Bedford:

Day of Caring has been a long-standing United Way tradition held annually to encourage volunteerism at non-profit organizations in our area. After a 2 year hiatus, Day of Caring is back! This is the perfect opportunity for companies to give back as a team or for individuals to spend a day volunteering with others to make a big impact. 86 volunteers will be assisting local organizations complete projects they may have not have been able to complete without the help of volunteers.

WHEN: Friday, September 16, 2022 from 9 AM- 3 PM

WHO: Community Volunteers and Company Volunteers from:
– LifeStream
– St. Anne’s Credit Union
– Morgan Advanced Materials
– Webster Bank
– BankFive
– Bristol County Savings Bank
– United Way of Greater New Bedford

WHERE: Volunteers will be at Buttonwood Park Zoo, Community Boating Center, Mass Audubon/ Y.O.U., My Brother’s Keeper, New Bedford Shannon, Project Independence, Sharing the Harvest/ YMCA, and United Way

The event is sponsored by BayCoast Bank, Bristol County Savings Bank, and Morgan Advanced Materials
