Rita Bogdon of New Bedford is the second $1 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$1,000,000 Holiday Bonus” instant game.
Bogdon chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (less tax withholdings). She plans on investing part of her winnings and buy a new truck.
Bogdon purchased her winning ticket at One Stop Gas, 1194 Kempton St. in New Bedford. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.
One $1 million prize still remains in the “$1,000,000 Holiday Bonus” $5 instant game.
