UPDATE: Amanda and the bus driver Kathleen Neves have been reunited on Facebook. “I remember you and your family. Your mom and two little sisters. You always held a special place in my heart. You were such a kind little girl. I also remember driving you to your foster home in Dartmouth.” said Kathleen.

“Hi, I grew up in New Bedford and would like to contact someone. I’m on the search for someone who made a meaningful impact on my life as a child in a good way!

I’m searching for a van driver who picked me up on the corner of Well and County St. across from Bob and Eileen’s Convenience store and drove me to United Front Daycare. The year was 1990 and I was 4-yrs old.

If you know of a woman driver who drove during this time or are the person and remember my photo please contact me.”-Amanda Lee.
