To me Veterans Day is one of our most important holidays. Not only because I’m a veteran and currently serve in the Massachusetts Air national Guard, but because we all owe the freedoms that we enjoy today in large part to the women and men that have served. Sunday, November 11th, is Veterans day and it’s important that we all take a few moments out of our busy day to show respect for those that have made the ultimate sacrifice, or have been wounded physically or mentally. It costs absolutely nothing to pay respect to those that are responsible for giving you a day off this Monday, November 12th. Here is a list of events in New Bedford and surrounding areas this Veterans Day. If you know of one please that I missed leave a comment with the details!
