New Bedford Stop & Shop at St. Anthony of Padua Parish hold community flu clinic and food distribution event

To keep residents safe this upcoming flu season, a licensed, trained and trusted Stop & Shop Pharmacist administered the flu shots at a clinic held at Stop & Shop in New Bedford.

Stop & Shop secured additional stock of the flu vaccine, anticipating higher demand as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and offered flu shots for residents ages 9 and older across its 250+ stores.

In addition to the flu clinic, St. Anthony’s Church hosted its weekly food distribution event on Thursday where residents were able to fill a box with various produce, meat, dairy, canned goods, as well as personal hygiene products donated by Stop & Shop.
