New Bedford police seek suspect in south end stabbing

On Thursday October 16th at aprox. 1500 New Bedford Police investigated a stabbing in the area of 34 Gifford St.

The victim Sergio Orellana DOB: 12/21/1982 was stabbed in the neck during the altercation and was transported to RI Hospital for treatment. Through witnesses statements it was learned that the suspect is a Alex Bonilla DOB:11/07/1989. It appears that he also goes by the name Alex Andrade, no other information available with that name. It is possible that he could be the operator or passenger in a white Lexus. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
