New Bedford resident wins $4 million ‘Willy Wonka Golden Ticket’

The S.C & J.C Family Trust of 2018 of New Bedford has claimed the first $4 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Willy Wonka Golden Ticket” instant game.

The Trust, represented by Trustee and Lawyer Marc Deshaies, chose the cash option on this prize and received a one-time payment of $2,600,000 (less tax withholdings).

The winning ticket was purchased at Lyndon’s Liquor & Co. 3963 Acushnet Avenue in New Bedford. The store will receive a $40,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.

One $4 million instant prizes and five additional $1 million instant prizes are still available in the $10 “Willy Wonka Golden Ticket” instant game.
