New Bedford Remembers 9/11

Mayor Jon Mitchell announced today that the City of New Bedford will mark the 12^th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with a ceremony on the steps of City Hall.  At 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, the Mayor, elected officials, members of New Bedford’s public safety departments, veterans, and community members will gather on the steps of City Hall to remember the lives lost and affected by the 9/11 attacks.

The Acushnet Fire Department will be hosting a “time of reflection” on Wednesday, September 11th beginning at 7pm at the Acushnet 9/11 Memorial and is open to all.
