New Bedford public schools to host teacher career fair on March 28

New Bedford Public Schools will host an annual teacher career fair at Keith Middle School on Saturday, March 28, 2015. The career fair begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m.

Candidates will have the opportunity to speak with principals and other school leaders from each of the city’s 26 schools. They may also arrange to tour New Bedford schools they wish to visit.

Anticipated vacancies for next year in New Bedford Public Schools include elementary education, special education, English as a Second Language teachers, middle and high school teaching positions in math, science and special education.

NBPS also continues to accept applications for interested substitute teacher candidates, as well as those interested in clerical, custodial, electrician, paraprofessional and school administrator positions.

Superintendent Pia Durkin encouraged those interested in New Bedford Public Schools to attend the career fair.
