New Bedford Police charge city woman and Taunton man with numerous narcotics offenses

“On March 7, 2022, at 11:30 a.m., New Bedford Police detectives were conducting surveillance in the area of Acushnet Avenue and Collette Street.

After observing a drug deal, officers arrested Daniel Aleixo, 49, of 13 Charles Street in Taunton, and Lisa Savage, 46, of 28 Whitman Street. Savage was found to have 2 plastic bags of cocaine and Aleixo had $80 sized from drug distribution.

Alexio was charged with distributing a class B drug, conspiracy to violate the drug law, and a subsequent offense of distributing a class B drug. Savage was charged with possession of a class B drug and conspiracy to violate the drug law.

Alexio was also found guilty on March 18, 2021 for possession to distribute a class A drug.” -New Bedford Police Department.
