New Bedford Police charge woman with multiple offenses including A&B on police officers

“On May 13, at approximately 11:30pm, the New Bedford Police Department responded to the area of Acushnet Avenue for a report of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, they found the cause of the disturbance to be Jaelyn Gonsalves, 27, of Matthew Street and she was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, four counts of Assault and Battery on a police officer, threat to commit a crime, vandalizing property, and resisting arrest.” -New Bedford Police Department.
