New Bedford police seize marijuana, Oxycodone and $16,910 in cash

Members of the New Bedford Police Department Narcotics unit executed a search warrant at 78 Apache Court yesterday (Thursday the 3rd) at approximately 7:30 pm. As result of the search at the residence, 274 grams of marijuana, 35 grams of Oxycodone, $16,910.00 in U.S. currency, and packaging materials were seized.

The target of the investigation Raul Medina jr. of 78 Apache Ct was arrested and charged with the following:

1. Possession with intent to distribute class D marijuana
2. possession with intent to distribute class D marijuana subsequent offense
3. trafficking class A oxycodone
4. possession with intent to distribute class A subsequent offense
5. outstanding warrant

Medina is scheduled to be arraigned this morning at 3rd district court
