New Bedford Police Department responds to group of female fighting in the street

“On Wednesday at approximately 2:30 AM, patrol units responded to a group disturbance involving multiple females fighting in the area of Griffin Ct. and Acushnet Ave.

While investigating the incident, a woman later identified as Ms. MARYAH BADILLO, 26, of 17 Franklin St. began to interfere.

BADILLO became confrontational and created a disturbance. While being arrested, she resisted and attempted to kick the cruiser window. She then kicked one officer and spit at another before being transported to booking.

Maryah Badillo has been charged with Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace, two counts of Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, and Resisting Arrest.” -New Bedford Police Department.
