New Bedford Police to host 2021 “National Night Out”


The New Bedford Police Department will be hosting 2021’s National Night Out event on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., all residents are welcome to attend.

The National Night Out event will be at the New Bedford High School at 230 Hathaway Boulevard.

Food, prizes, and community resources will be available, as well as COVID-19 vaccines.

The fire department will also be in attendance, where they are celebrating Fire Prevention Week. Fire safety tips and home safety information will be available. Kids can tour a fire truck and be given a New Bedford Fire Department coloring book!

The event is sponsored by the New Bedford Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, New Bedford Shannon program, Neighborhoods United, the Old Bedford Village, and many other local resources.
