An arrest has been made in connection with a Feb. 22 shooting incident in the area of Rockdale Ave. and Hawthorn St.

Yesterday, NBPD Detectives arrested Armani Reyes, 20, 189 Deane St. #1, and charged him with assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, several firearms offenses, and a motor vehicle offense.

Reyes previously fled from Detectives March 6 after they attempted to stop him for a traffic violation.

Around 3:40 p.m. on Feb. 22, NBPD received a call reporting shots fired between two vehicles in the area of Rockdale Ave. and Hawthorn St. No injuries were reported. An investigation was immediately launched into the incident and Reyes was identified as a suspect.

Reyes is now being held without bail at the Ash St. Jail.
